'99 Mercrusier 4.3 Cap/Ignition ?'s

Friend of mine has a 99 4.3 Merc with Alpha leg..Ser.# OLO96646.
He has asked me to look for the cap and ignition components part numbers. He indicated that the cap is cracked and there is some charred/burt looking marks under it. This would probably explain why his mototr is not running well!
Also anything to consider when changing these components?​

Just above your post, click on "Mercruiser Parts" > Ignition Parts
He will need a rotor also.
