Re: 99 tracker leaning to the left
okay so I solved the problem of listing to the left while underway. the extra battery the PO put in was too much weight on that side....removed battery, easy enough. I am properly getting the boat on plane now, but I still have the problem of hard steering to the left. here is what I have done so far.
removed whale tail
verified the motor is on there straight
checked the hull for damage........none
adjusted trim tab trailing edge 1 notch to the left (when looking from the back of the boat)
It seems worse at higher speeds. If I were to let go of the wheel while underway, it will turn fairly quickly to the right. Any more ideas? do I just need to adjust the trim tab more? how many notches seem reasonable?
