Re: A Bad Aprils Fools Joke

Dang Bob, all that snow reminds me of when I grew up in WI.

I'm in the desert now... Supposed to be 92* tomorrow.

We are getting an arctic blast and it's plummeting to 66* on Sunday though :D

LOL I keep my home at 55 and then up to 68 when the wife and I are waking up for only an hour and then again in the evenings for 4 hours......... gotta love the electronic thermostat. 92 is just about the hottest we het in the summer ;)

55-68, I'd love that for the next 6 months...

I just checked our upstairs thermostat and it read 87*, with the windows open and fans going it's not too bad. I bet my wife will be flipping on the AC tomorrow though.

Re: A Bad Aprils Fools Joke

im just annoyed because i wanted to glass in the transom this weekend that i just rebuilt. i do all my work outside so i need it to be dry. i wanna be able to put my boat in for the shad run and the striped bass that follow them up the Connecticut river. thats normally when the water hits 55. otherwise its shoulder to shoulder at the Holyoke dam and lines get tangled and people are a** holes.

why cant people fish and be cheery. a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. even if you dont catch anything its nice to be outside

Come out to central MA lots of lakes and hardly anyone around all summer.

All that stress worrying about it for nothing, Bob..... We had brown grass yesterday and woke up to 2" of white. It's still snowing. It sure is purdy....

I have lost my sense of humor due to this...........

Tonight: Rain and snow likely before midnight, then snow. Low around 20. Light east wind. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Friday: Snow. High near 34. East wind at 8 mph becoming north. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.

I suspect Vermont is like Minnesota. Two weeks of summer surrounded by 50 weeks of bad sledding.:D

Supposed to be 95 here today.:p

For those complaining about the snow and cold... I'm pretty sure it's because of where y'all live!

The Aarons 499 at Talladega is in 2 weeks and there's gonna be a lot of drunk blistered yankees down here... they never fail to amuse me!:D

Re: A Bad Aprils Fools Joke

Thursday night I went to bed counting on a heavy snow in the morning and working from home. Unfortunatelly, it was a bad April Fools joke on me. No snow, just rain, and after I leave for work, it starts snowing on the drive. Not a lot, just enough to make for a pain commuting.

Oh well. Sometimes ya win, sometimes ya lose.

Hit 102 here today. Will be in 110's by end of month, on its way to 140's by end of June, then low 150's by July-August. Makes me sweat just thinking about it. It's skeeter and fly season here all year. I just swatted at a fly. He stopped the swing, pulled the swatter from my hand and threw it across the room. I expect him to be back with a suicide vest on later.

If you have the nerve to live up here in the North ...... we could teach you to drink like us!! :D Then you can be part of the party and not the spectator's!!! We Northern folk are taught at a young age to get drunk since it amuses the people in Bama!! Roll Tide!

Actually I am jealous and wish I lived closer to a nice track ;)
