After looking at factory marine air units, I decided to utilize their complete design.

I had a window A/C that was designed for a narrow window. I removed the air cooled condenser coil and intalled a water cooled condenser coil. I bought a regular marine a/c water pump to circulate the water to the conderser coils.

Finally got everything together last night. Test run it and it works great. However that was in my shop when I did the test. I let the water temp get to 95 degrees and the head pressure went up but not enough to kick out on the high pressure saftey switch. I don't think the lake temp will ever get that warm. So far I am happy with my results. Now to get it mounted in the boat.

My previous thoughts was to mount the compressor in the bilge and condenser coil under my swim deck. There was too much concnern on the saftey of the unit being in the bilge area. So now my new plan is to mount this inside the cabin under one of the bunks. I was able to keep my measurements to 21"L x 14"H x 14"W. It even looks factory.

Just thought I would update this post since some members wanted me to update on my progress of this project. Thanks.
