A couple questions about SYNCHING 1987 EV 90HP

1) Where is the CAST IN TDC MARK on the flywheel ???? What does it look like ?

2) The Piston Stop tool is supposed to measure where the PISTON HEAD IS FULLY EXTENDED and closest to the spark plug (TDC) right ?

3) My #1 cylinder is TOP PORT SIDE correct ?

4) Once I find TDC, I mark the flywheel 180 DEGREES ACROSS from the pointer ???

Isn't #1 usually top STARBOARD side?

1) I see the "TDC" on your wheel. I probably did not look closely enough thanks.

2) Port vs Starboard would probably explain why my readings seemed way out there, thanks.

I got the right idea about what the PISTON STOP is trying to do, right ?
