Re: A day of "firsts" at The Hideout

Yep, spring is coming, for sure!

Last weekend I sat on my front porch with a cup of coffee, and watched my neighbors spend all day shoveling snow off their lawn and into the street to melt.

By today, all the snow was gone from my lawn too, and all I did was take a nap!

Apparently they did not understand the effects of warm sunshine on snow, and I did not have the heart to break it to them.

It was maybe their 50th year in Northern Michigan, however, and if they have not learned it by now, some comment from me is not going to make a huge difference.

Yep ...seen a couple of hummers in the honeysuckle this week. Now if the wind will just lay a bit.

Wouldn't you know that PW2 would inject yet another example of his intillectual superiority over his own neighbor shoveling snow no less.
