My mom had a fridge that color. I don't miss it. Funky, funky Brady Bunch green for sure.

Welcome to the best Starcraft "Bunch" on the planet. Your Tin Indian (I know total rip-off of Pontiac) is awesome.:D

now, wait a minute, gents.......if that same color was slathered all over a Holiday, you'd all be droolin, but here it's courtesy of a renegade organic farmer...?? suspect the very-green seats are aftermarket, tho.

nice boat, and good word play........

Re: a few pics of the chief-tin

I found a soft spot in the floor left of the engine cover if u face forward and the jungle wood sides have swelled up . It looks like it will be a bit of work, but oh well its only wood and time and stainless steel and time and flooring material and time . In the end I think it will be a sweet ride.As for the seats being aftermarket, I think they are original as I saw white ones in a picture ad . This is the previous owner , I told him he can come on the maiden voyage. The first change will be to remove the name from the hull , I can't believe anyone would call a boat that.

I think what barato meant to say was cruising the lake in the freshly restore Starcraft = priceless. Well at least to me, cruising any boat any time = priceless. Good luck.

Re: a few pics of the chief-tin

OK, what am i missing? isn't the "hideous color" the exact same green used on many 70s Holidays?

we joke, but in the grand scheme of things, it ain't really all that much money to have an offshore or GreatLks capable cabin cruiser...not some cuddy cabin hobbithole-on-the-water, but a real cabin you could camp in for a long weekend. you couldn't buy one of the ubiquitous disposaskiboats...Bayliner Capri or some such...for what most of us have in our Chiefs & islanders. did i mention that "barato" is Spanish for "cheap"....?

Green's ok, so is Robins Egg Blue. I also like Plum Crazy on a mopar. Very cool to look at, I'm not sure I could live with it day to day though.

Anyone that wants to go with the old original colors I say do it.

I stand by my original statement that I could live without my mom's avocado kitchen, she also had harvest gold, now that was cool,..... not.:D

Re: a few pics of the chief-tin

i'm wit ya on livin with it day to day, esp on the inside of a cabin boat. the period colors are great for an occasional lake toy. glad mine came in mostly off-white and cream, which appears factory. i'm less enamored of the dingy brown interior on cabin, but that's turning to matching cream as the elves work on it at night.
