Yup.... Cardiac Rehab nicknamed "sweating with the oldies" and I am the youngest participant. There are actually people who are on their 3rd and 4th time through the program  I hold my thoughts of telling them that they might be a slow learner but it is evident they do not practice what is taught!

Typical Rehab is weight, blood pressure then exercise followed by a cool down for the heartbeat ...... again blood pressure and exercise. This is repeated 4-5 times in the 90 minutes. Blood pressures actually lower as you exercise (normally)

We have time to BS with each other..... and I brought up the subject of the NFL and someone else mentioned the Cheating Scandal with the NE Patriots....

Well...... it had a funny side effect..... The blood pressures were elevated (as evidenced by the machines) as the discussion progressed. At first the nurses could not put this together then it was discussed again with the patients..... everyone calmed down and the pressures were returning to normal....

The nurses had a good laugh and so did I...... there is one patient who still may have high blood pressure because of it :p

LOL I told the nurses I would not mention the NFL again ....... maybe next week I would stick to healthy subjects ;)

There in lie the new guidelines for DC. If the ensuing post or thread may raise the blood pressure, hackles, hair, or defenses of an iboats member, it will be deemed inappropriate and locked or poofed. What do ya think. Oh, and funny story there Bob..............and sorry for the off topic thoughts.:redface:

Not off topic at all. With all the changes at DC, my bloodpressure may come down.
