JB I'm not sure what category to put this in-feel free to move it. Hope it's useful. I've linked direct to the forum thread as it takes ages to redo the bold and images etc.

I wrote this for the UK for a fishing site and moved it over to rib.net.
Obviously there'll be some differences for the USA-divers flags in the USA are different for a start.

http://www.rib.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12889

A lot of this is gleaned from Iboats anyway-thanks guys! If anyone wants to use it on their own sites feel free. It'd be appreciated if you put my name on it though.

the turn it on half is a holdover from the days the flush device threaded into the gearcase. if you use the muffs turn it on full. the muffs wont seal tight enough to overpressurize anything.
if your using the threaded wash/flush port and its locate below the water pump start it at half and turn to full once its running.
be careful your muffs dont "hydroplane" and fall off the water intakes. some gear cases are notorious for it.

Don't you know it against protocol to contradict the Doctor in the presence of the patient.
