I heard this the other day and it does make sense.

If you get honey from your local area and consume it throughout the fall and winter. Your body will build antibodies for the those pollens in your area. Those antibodies will keep those allergies in control during the spring and summer. For it to work, it must be honey collected from your local area. After all, it is the pollens that is collected from the bees of all the different types of flowers/weeds in you location.

My brother will not eat anything that has honey in or on it. I love honey and use it frequently. He has allergies so bad that he takes enormous amounts of medication for. Then here I am without any allergy problems. Go figure that one out.

Just thought maybe some of you have heard of this or haven't. I know it is a little late now, but maybe next season if someone has these problems could try it.
