I am new to this whole boating thing. I have owned PWC, but nothing with an outboard motor, or aluminum rivets. lol. I have a 14 ft gamefisher, and It seems to have a slight l leak. Nothing major, but enough to bother me. I believe its under the middle seat. My question is, I have heard things about J B Weld *Marine*, and this Gluvit stuff. With the Gluvit, would I seal it on the outside bottom? Or inside bottom? The same with J B Weld. Inside or outside? Im not sure if I am making sense, but I would like to get this small leak sealed just for peace of mind. Id like something easy, and cheap. Any suggestions?

Sorry about the double postings... Im new to the forum, and I was not able to find my original one. I have heard alot about gluvit. Would I apply it by brush, or roll it on?

Re: A leak in my boat.

go to your local pool place...buy this stuff that comes in 2 tubes..it's for patching liners and inground pool steps..

worked great on my pool jets at the steps and also my friends bass boat..stuff really holds up it's permanet. just mix together.

obviously this stuff is made to see water 24/7...trust me it's a cheap fix but works like a charm.

Ayuh,...

Inside would be 1 side,...
Outside would be Another side...

Both sides would be the Inside, And the Outside......

There's a million products you can use, you could have it welded even, I have used Marine Tex for years, I've used it on fuel tanks, boats, cars, it works, it's cheap and it's easy.
