A manual for Quicksiver 3000 classic

Well I got the throttle off to do my upholstery work. Now I have to put it back together. 2050 Bayliner Capri 5.0 MPI Mercruiser 2003, boat is 1996. I am looking for a manual or somewhere I can find information on putting the throttle back together. I put it back together and now it starts in WOT, that was fun. I am sure that I just have the throttle cables in backwards or something can anyone help me out. Thanks to all for the feedback on removing the assy. This is a great resource. It is a Quicksilver 3000 Classic with the trim and the engine lift on the throttle.

Sounds like you have the cable on the wrong side of the box so it moves in the opposite direction.

Thanks Don I think that this will do the trick. How might I find the manual that you pulled that from, for future refrence. Thanks again. I was considering a service trip which means 2-3 months wait time in Southeast Lousiana due to back log of boats being serviced. It's a Katrina thing!!!

The service manual part number is in the lower left corner of the picture above. You could order it from any Merc dealer.
