Hello,

Briefly, I purchased a summer home this year with a boat lift. Locically, I just purchased a boat to fill that lift. I got a 2005 Azure (Bennington made) AZ 210 deck boat. The toon like seating and v hull combo appealed to me. It has a 175 hp Yamaha OB on it. My useage will be mainly on the Eastern Shore of Maryland tidal bay waters. Average depth of 2-6 feet, mostly calm.

I envison lazy summer days with wife, 10 y/o duaghter ,and numerous weekend guests gently cruising to Assateague Island or anchored in shallow water with everyone enjoying each others company and the kids frolicking about.

I'll start with 2 basic questions:
1. Do any membes have experience/opinions on the Azure/Bennington line, good or bad.

2. Any members, with similar goals to mine, have a list of supplies/checklist of items they bring out for a family day trip so that everyone is comfortable, well fed, and at ease? I'm sure everyone has some type of list, but a deep sea fishing checklist won't apply to my needs.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to a long term relationship here. I hope this is the correct forum for this topic.

No standardized list here ... wife and I just decide what we are going to do for the day and how long we plan on staying on the water and then pack for a twice as long stay ... plenty of water for hydrating, plenty of food to keep the young ones (and us) from getting cranky, a few sodas for a treat, and whatever else ... prefer to listen to nature than the noise-maker, so not to worried about music. Always take the sun screen and towels ...

Sometimes we take the grill to grill the fish we catch ... 10 minutes from hook to grill, can't get much fresher than that!
