Well LF.....it's just something we do up here along the Muddy Banks. I could boat year round but I ain't real partial to frost bite...d:)

But there are some die hards here that do fish year round...fishing the warm outlets at the power plants along the river. Hybirds (strippers) like these places and it's common to set in these places and catch 10+ pounders all day.

I guess any area has an up and down side. Surely even in your area there is some kinda down side......but I bet it ain't no biggy......d:)

Ya, Jim, it sucks!. At least I haven't had to shovel snow. Right now it's a balmy 51*.

Funny though... I aint never hear Ladyfish brag much about the hurricanes down there. :p :p 8)

Re: A Sad Sad Morning

I weep a single tear every time I trudge through the snow to get to my garage, where the boat has been festering for a month, and will continue to fester until April. On the plus side, at least there is another winter storm watch with "large amounts of snow" predicted. It sucks now, but it brings the lake up faster in the spring when there is more snow...

Aw quit sniveling guys, at least you probably do not have to swim thru your air like we do in Washington 9 mos out of the year. When I go boatin' I only want the water underneath me, not commin' down on top of me.:p

That's what I like to hear guys.....KEEP ON THE UPSWING....one day of winter passing is another day closer to spring..8)

We got 56* on temp meter Keith.....and a little drizzle with some heavier rain coming thru now and then. Being where you are, I'm really surprised you ain't diggin' out. Folks on the way side east of the lake has dug out several times already.
