Arthur C Clarke, thinker extraordinare died yesterday at age 90.
Most famous for "2001:A Space Odessey" he had an incredible mind.
Predicted the personal computer way before it's time, predicted communications satelites in 1945 and even figured out geosynchronus orbits before most others could understand the concept of spaceflight.
One of my favorite authors. RIP Arthur!

There's not a whole lot of "thinking" going on in the good ole USA today. There's a lot of "reaction" and "blame" going on but almost "0" THINKING. I guess we're all too busy. For What? A new TV show?

It's a lost art-here.

I glean, so much, from all the "thinkers" of the world. Without them we'd be raising donkeys, to pull our loads,

I prefer internal combustion.

BTW, my "carbon footprint" is HUGE and proud of it.:D

Re: A visionary has moved on

Sir Arthur was not burdened with the notion that if it hasn't been done it can't be done. Too many of us bear that burden.
