Wee shot on the Loch earlier. Lovely when the weather is right. Camera boat is an old school Fletcher Arrowbeau 17 with the big monster yam 225 2 stroke and 25" cleaver. Both running around 65/66 mph GPS

Very nice mate. Why isn't it raining? That must be one huge Lock to be able to get up to speed. We live near the Welland Canal connecting Lakes Ontario and Erie. Even those locks you don't have that much room. Oh Lake! Canada and the UK, 2 peoples separated by a common language.

Haha. It poured down just after that.
The Loch is 23 miles long and 5 miles wide at its widest.
Lovely place when the sun shines.

Loch.....A lake or part of the sea that is almost surrounded by land....... The actual "locks" in the Welland Canal are maybe 1,000 ft long ,so yes it would be hard to get any boat up to speed in any lock. The connecting waterway between locks is another story.

Yeah...just noticed this. Defo loch, not lock. That surely wouldn't be curtious! Haha.
