The serial # is VWB19090
Who made them & are parts hard to get?
Are they any good? I had not heard of them before.

Might get a boat that has one one do you think a dealer would give me much as a trade in on a new motor. Starts good & runs Ok.
Not sure what year it is?
Thanks guys

Sea King outboards were sold by Montgomery Ward department stores, and were made by various manufacturers over the years. Motors with model numbers starting with VWB were made by Chrysler. I surfed a bit trying to figure out exactly what you have by model number but couldn't. I suspect however, that your motor was made in the mid sixties - that seems to track with the motors with model numbers beginning VWB 19___.

My recommendation is to make a post in the Force & Chrysler section here at iboats. The guys over there, especially Frank Acampora, will probably know what you have, and be able to offer reasonable advice.

You can also try Nick's Marine or Franz's Marine for parts and/or advice.
