? about decking beneath splashwell in SS180

In the photo, you'll notice the tan painted "boxes" in each corner beneath my splashwell. It appears they were added after the original decking was installed, on top of the decking. Is this going to make it extremely difficult, if not impossible to replace the decking there? I hope this makes sense. Let me know if I need to clarify.

on my 16 I removed the side panels to the floor,when the floor was removed the new floor slid under the splashwell hardware just fine.

So there were no inaccessable floor rivets behind the boxes?

:redface: Uh..nevermind...I looked at it again and noticed there is a gap at the top of the boxes between them and the splashwell. I thought they were permanantly attached to the splashwell. I think I see now they're just screwed to the floor and should be easy to remove.

While you have the floor out would you be so kind as to measure the center area under the floor?

I am attempting to confirm which belly tank may fit underneath.

Not sure I know where you need me to measure? Do you mean between the main stringers and the height of them?

On MY boat, I measured 24-1/4" between the main stringers and 8" from the top of the bottom-rib, down in the "V" to the top of the stringers. HTH.
