I found an optimax at a well known dealer here in RI. It is a 2001 150 optimax. Where can you find Smarttech guages?

do not buy an optimax. Have two 99 150hp.Nothing but headackes and mayor problems.

You'd be far better off getting an Evinrude E-Tec. Much better reliability, excellent economy of operation and minimal servicing requirements.

The optimax outboard is a very good outboard. Beat all other outboards on fuel economy...e-tec included. Very reliable motor, requires no more maintainence than any other outboard.
