ACC Switch to Fuse Block

Hi, I have a 91 Johnson 60hp that I'm trying to get set up on my bass boat. Currently, my fuse block is wired directly to the battery. I want to run this block through the ACC switch on my ignition switch so that nothing can be operated unless the key is in. I'm not sure which wire should run from the switch to the 12v power supply on the fuse block.

The switch has 6 connections.

That sir is a very bad idea. Very bad in that the ignition switch is not designed to handle the electrical load of the entire boat which is why the boat manufacturers wire the panel the way they do. There is a way to do that but it involves adding a 12 volt relay. The "A" terminal would activate the relay and the relay contacts would then complete the positive circuit to the fuse panel. Turn off the key, the relay drops out and everything goes dead. The other way is to add a simple MASTER switch on the helm. This needs to be a 20 amp ON/OFF switch installed in the positive feed to the fuse panel. PM me if you need a diagram for a relay operated system.

I haven't recieved the diagram for a 12v relay installation. Can anyone shead some light onto this?

Hi silvertip. Could you provide me with the diagram too?

I have a 2005 Bayliner 175BR. My stereo is currently connected to the ACC switch and I'm starting to add a few other accessories (depth finder, 12V power plug, etc) and was thinking about how to wire up a second "switched" fuse panel that would only get power when the ignition is turned. I know I need some sort of relay/solenoid but I'm not sure what is best to buy. The other question I have is what sort of gauge of wire should I run from the battery to this new panel? I've seen some mention of putting a fuse on that wire too to protect the entire panel. Not sure if that's really needed though. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
