Hi,

Boat: 2000 1700 Lund Fisherman

I am in the process of routing some wires from the bow to the in-floor trolling motor battery compartment. While looking for a easy way to do this, I found what appears to be conduit leading from the front bow storage compartment to the trolling motor battery compartment, great! Unfortunately, I've tried this conduit and it doesn't appear to lead to the battery compartment??? It is perplexing as I can see some other wires run down this conduit that do end up in the battery area. Has my conduit come loose from the battery area? I don't see how to get any wires run from the bow to the battery compartment - any ideas??

My other thought is to pull up the floor... does anyone know how to get under the floor in the bow?

Thanks

Dan

There might be more than one conduit. Did you trying running a fish tape from the battery storage back?

Exactly- you must run a fish tape through- if it stops, gets hung up, or doesn't feel right, wiggle it around and listen to where it is banging on the aluminum. Then from here try running the fish tape through from the opposite side. Many times it does actually go through, but you could be catching on something like a piece of electrical tape on the existing wires or a cable tie.

You should not have to pull up the floor for any reason....
