I recently replaced my old 16' Lund Pike Angler, with a 2006 Pro V 2025 LE. The boat was purchased a year old from a professional Walleye fisherman two years ago. I love the boat, but have one problem with it. The boat takes on water through either one of the 3 intake lines, and is continually activating the auto bilge on the boat. My guess the culprit is the intake line that supplies water to the wash-down pump. Since I have owned the boat, the wash-down hose and pump have never worked. My guess is that without draining the wash-down hose before cold weather set in, that something below the deck in the lines running along the hull, a fitting has cracked, or pulled apart from freezing with water in the line.

The hull is in great shape, and no rivets are missing. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so, how do you access the inner hull. I can see small segments of the rubber hose supply lines by the trolling motor batteries storage, and a little of the hoses at the back of the transom through the access panel to the livewell and bilge pumps, and the hoses look in good shape.

Has anyone obtained any kind of schematic of the plumbing for the Lund Pro V. I cannot get anything from dealerships to show me where and how to access the lines in the hull.

One dealer said they would have to pull the deck off the boat to get to the lines. I think I can probably do that, but would like to have a little idea of the process....

Would like to hear from anyone encountering this problem...Thanks

I had a similar problem with my Lund. I used a wine bottle cork and plugged each intake hole. Then I pulled one at a time to see which one was leaking.

Turned out they were all fine, water was coming through a seam right where the transom mates to the side.

Real pain to pull the deck, and most of the lines are encased in foam.

You could also fill the boat with water on the trailer to see where it's leaking from. I had to slightly take the water level over the deck to finally find it. Just make sure you drain it and let the boat dry out before covering it.

Thanks for the tip with the wine corks...I will have the boat on the water in less than a week, so will see if I can isolate the line it's entering from. Thanks again...
