accessory power went out

I have a 17ft Fish/Ski with AM/FM radio but it didn't have a cig lighter plug for my GPS, XM radio, or air pump. I tapped into the power wires that go to the radio and it has been working fine for about 9 months and then the other day when I was running the little cheapo air pump it just quit working. I thought it was the pump so I found another cordless one I had and used it instead. I then got to the lake to find out the radio didnt work any more. I bought a circuit tester and tested the power coming off the fuse block and it is fine there, but it doesn't make it around to the radio. Almost all of the wires from the fuse block around to the radio are not accessible because they are under the compartments up front and it comes out on the passenger side (where the radio is). I would like to think there is an inline fuse somewhere that I am missing, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

AN inline fuse BEFORE you tapped into the radio line is my guess. The radio is going to have a low amperage fuse. Too small for blowers.

Did the fuse block have a few empty ccessory spades (terminals) ? That is what I would have used. and the gounding block, also probably under the dash or against the side of the boat.

Yeah, I realize I might should have put it there instead, but I cannot find where an inline fuse might be that is keeping the power from the radio. I guess I will have to take it back to the friggin marina and get them to look at it...

Many of the newer units have a fuse built into the back of the radio. Check it out. If it's there, you will see it. It's the spade type plugged into the back of the radio...
