Add-on GPS

On a lot of the Humminbird Matrix Series you can add on a GPS for only $100.(I've got the Matrix 17) Do you think its worth it or would it be better to just go out and buy a whole nother GPS unit. If anybody has the add-on GPS I'd love to hear from them or if anybody has any comments.

If you want the ability to see maps on your GPS (built in or bought), you will need a stand alone unit. The GPS capability of the matrix units below the 67, are basic units. You can see where you have been, create waypoints, navigate, etc. However, no map.

A thought. Get seperate items for each job. Then if a function dies you only send back 1 piece of equipment. Not 3 functions together.
