I have one on a 48 special I aquired..and the electric motor is frozen up..

plus the unit was dissonected and slid off the back of the guys boat one time and the motor-hydraulic unit bounced down the highway behind his boat for several miles...

the sides are all ground up..now and the manual release is gone!!
