Add Recirculatng to Livewell

I have a livewell which only brings water from the outside on my KW 1520. I would like to be able to switch between recirculating what's already in the livewell or to bring in the outside water. My father-in-law's Scout has this feature. Is it possible to add this or is it too difficult and should I forget it?
