so found out that my wood floor which was under the fiber one was rotten. THe worst part of all of this was ripping the god for saken carpet out swear they used a ten gallon bucket of glue. So this time going back in i used finished grade plywood stained and coated it with multiple layers of spars. Has anyone went this route also should i put the boat into the water while i can see the bottom to make sure there are no leaks. Sorry its a 58 starcraft arrow fiberglass boat

there are some pics i havent put the flooring back in yet its in the garage drying and im a single dad with a 4 yr old so you guys know how that goes im also gonna put a inspection pie in the front so i can take a peek down there just in case as for inside sides were i cant put wood im gonna carpet that red to match the paint. It is gonna get a new coat of red and white paint this winter and maybe i can find a windshield just to toss some of that wind off my face. The 50 hp merc had about 90 psi of compression which the boat shop said was low but then they werent out there with me ripping through the lake hate to see how it ran new. All this for $300 took the little fishing boat with the trolling motor out would take me 3 days to reach the other side of the lake thats why i steped up to bigger.
