i think i might have a problem. i find myself thinking about iboats forums more than i think i should be. while at work, home, grocery store etc... i am glad there is a place like this to help everyone who would have been stumped by a simple problem or robbed by their local marina. i really appreciate all that these forums. they have helped me with bringing my outboard back to life again. if it wasn't for this site i would have either given up on this motor or taken out a loan and given it all to a local marina. i have saved somewhere in the neighborhood of 2000 by fixing myself with the confidence and knowledge i have gained here. thanks to all who post. you make this possible.

Good call jr- I have only just begun exploring the forums and have found a ton of useful information myself. It's great to have a resource like this, I too appreciate all of the knowledgeable contributors. Also good to have a place to spount off an opinion or two ;)

This "addiction" is considered a problem if your family and friends set you up for an intervention on a TV show.

Funny you should say that!! I was just telling my wife last night "That I aaalmost enjoy Iboats as much as I do boating!" This is an AWSOME site and would be depressed sitting on my couch because it's not the weekend and I am not out on my boat, This helps me get through the week because all I want to do is be on the water:cool:, "little secret, I think my wife gets tired of me saying boat this, engine that, camping this, I think I give her a break when I am on Iboats, Its like she doesn't mind at all, don't get me wrong she loves boating and camping, and beaching, just not talking about it 24/7:D.
Thats me!!

Re: addicted to iboats

I'm in the same boat! (Paron the pun LOL)

Where I live there is no TV, and the internet is my only source of leisure... so I spend probably 3 hours a day on the site reading up about all the stuff people post!

I only wish I had found this site BEFORE I started my rebuild!!!!

From all of the stuff I have learned, I am almost inclined to tear it apart and do it all over if I had the money and time!

I just hope it'll be sea worthy when I'm done, guess we'll see!

But seriously, Thanks a million iboats!!!!
