Remember when you run the rubber hose for the speedo do not pinch it or strap it too tight with zip-ties..

You can check your outboard to see if it has a pitot built into the lower unit. If it does you could use this if you don't want to drill holes in the transom. Personally, I don't see any problem with mounting a pitot as long as the holes are sealed well during install.

You the man I found a tube running up the outboard with a plug on it I think it is the pilot so no drilling in the transom thanks for the tip
