I was given this motor and have it running pretty well,
It only is a motor and binnacle. It is a 1986, 60hp, mercury and i'd like to add a tach to it for safety purposes.
Is it possible and where to I get one?

Thanks, need to be an obsolete part, or get new, does it easily attach to existing wiring harness or not, or does the new tach come with paperwork to allow connection to any brand motors?????
