Adding electric start to 1976 6hp

Thanks for the suggestions for the starter. I'm finally getting ready to get back to work on this boat, I got the aluminum I need for the deck and float pods and picked up a set of used cables for the throttle and shifter for the kicker. I'll be making my own ends to attach them to the motor and will probably be going with a solid rod and bellcrank system for the steering. I've decided to wait on the electric start for now to get some of the more important things done.

I have raised the transom and I am pretty happy with the speed I'm getting from the kicker, still doing some research to find the right prop though (I have a post in the prop section detailing that). Unless I come across an electric start motor I like before everything else is done i will still be giving this project a shot though. The bad part is I'm out of town for a while for work so it will be a while before things get rolling again. Just wanted to check in on this post since I said I'd keep everyone updated.
