Have a boat that has no fuse panel so I'm adding one. I've always had one so if a fuse blew i could conveniently look at the blown one and replace accordingly. Since i don't have that luxury, how do i determine correct amp to use?

I currently have fish finder, bilge, livewell, bow/stern light and a couple usb power points.

Assuming all your wiring is 18 gauge or larger. Bilge wire should be 16 or 14 gauge

Bilge & Livewells 15 amp (draws 8)
Horn 10 amp (draws 6)
Lights 5 amp for LED
Fish finder 5 amp
USB 3 amp

I went with Carling circuit breakers. $3 each from Grainger. Add the little sealed plastic covers for $1.

Thanks. The wire on the switch matched the leads off the new pump so should be good there. Using 8 ga as the lead from batter y to panel.

With no more then your going to have, 8 gauge is great but 10 would be more then enough, but just my opinion

I bought 8 for the trolling motor extension so its 'free' wire. And yes bought the good stuff.
