Just wondering what it would take to add these guages.
Would really like a temp guage and a tach would be great too.
its an 1981 seahorse,175hp.
Do these engines have a place for a temp sender?

while yuor at it, add a water pressure guage, more or as important than the temp, as you can see if the pressure is dropping, indicating the impeller is failing.

Follow this link to the Teleflex manual. On page three there is a picture of a "Z" bar [Figure 7] sender attachment which will work for you. The OMC/BRP guages have the same attachment in their kit.

If you have an OMC side control, there is a three prong black plug below the key for the tachometer harness.

This link will take you to the Teleflex instructions for wiring the tach.

Iboats sells Teleflex guages. See your dealer for the OMC/BRP guages. Both have the harnesses, or you can make your own.
