trying to add a temp gauge, where in head does sender need to go its got a thing in a hole secured by a plate with wires comeing out in one head but its not all way thru just pushed into a cutout hole factory made, looks sealed, i put presure sender at bottom center where little brass plug was, would i be better off teeing the presure into the pee line and putting the temp sensor in that hole at center bottom beside the flush and pee line? thanks

The "thing" has a tan wire on it and it is your over temp sensor. Set to close at about 195F.Stats start to open at 143F. On the other bank of cylinders is another sensor and has tan or tan/blue stripe doing the same thing. If you have a (probably 1/8" pipe thread) brass plug in the water jacket cover(s) then put it there. Assuming your thermal load was balanced, you could just install it in one head's water jacket cover. If two, you could sum them together but the output would be the average value anyway and wouldn't be that much better.....if you get in trouble one of your "things" will short to ground and turn on your warning horn with a solid blast.
