I am looking to add a tilt/trim gauge to my 1995 88spl Evinrude.

I have looked at the gauges, and they are fairly cheap ($25-50). They all say that I must purchase an adapter if my engine didn't originally come with a tilt/trim gauge.

Anyone have any idea where I can find this 'adapter'?

Thanks!
Shawn

If you have a T&T sender, it will be located on the port side of the motor bracket down low. Raise the T&T to see it. Or do you know you don't have one and need to know where to get one??

Honestly I'm not sure.
I went out to look just now, and it is too dark to see.

I assume that since it is a SPL model, it probably doesn't have it (but I could be wrong).

If I remember correctly, the SPL is the 'no frills' version, which was available with no tilt/trim, and no VRO. So, it is basically a 'base' model. Mine does have tilt/trim from the factory though.

I'll check tomorrow a little more when i get some light!

Thanks
Shawn

If the sending unit isn't there, and I'd bet it ain't, your friendly OMC dealer has the whole tra-la in a kit. Don't remember for sure but I think about $150.

c/6
Hooty
