Need a little help, I?m trying to install two remotes (REM20GSB) to my MR-4 JBL radio and was wondering if they sale some type of y-connector that would do this. I found the JBL REX-W on some WEB-sites but some claim it will only work on the REM35 remote and some claim it work for all remotes?but if you look at the ends of the connectors I don?t think it will work with the REM20GSB remotes.

Maybe I can make my own ??By the way, JBL customer support is useless.

Thanks
Al

What this splitter does is just combines the din cables into one. Does one remote work with your radio? If it does and splicing / soldering doesn't scare you then logic dictates you can cut the din connector off of one cable and splice the wires into the other cable. This won't make it easy to re-route and it won't be returnable or have its warranty on either if you start cutting them up tho ;)

I was thinking the same thing but wasn?t sure if splicing the wires together color by color would do the trick, or if this would cause a problem with the power lead. I?ll test this out, since I have a remote installed already and it works fine routing the cable for the second remote shouldn?t be a big deal. (I got the second from a friend for free)

Thanks for your help??
