The wood block my bilge pump and float switch are sitting on came apart from the fiberglass. Is there an adhesive I can use to glue it down or do I have to fiberglass it back in? Also where it sits the wood and fiberglass are always wet will the adhesive still work if I cant get it completely dry? Its a 1988 Grady White 204c overnighter. Any ideas will help thanks.

My concern is that you say your boat is always wet. So your boat always is leaking or there is water in the foam, etc that is always seeping out?

3m 4200 or 5200 would be my choice to 'stick' a NEW block back in. To keep the area dry use Caulk or Polyurethane foam to build a dam around the area you are working on. That will keep new water away, but you'll probably need to use a hair dryer to get it dry enough to start the install. The 'dam' will hopefully keep the water out until the glue sets up. Then remove the 'dam'

Also consider relocating the bilge pump such that you can mount it with brackets to the transom or some other vertical surface..

I've got mine bolted to an aluminum L. The bottom of the L has two 6-lb lead ball halves bolted to the topside. I just drop the whole thing in the bilge - it's never moved.

Well I mean its always wet because the pump sits up on the block and the bottom of the pump is about 1" or two off the bottom. So when I pump water out there always a little standing water. I don't think theres a leak but I will keep an eye out for that. I would like not to change the wood if I don't have to. It fits perfectly in the fiberglass indentation thats there. The wood seams strong, but wet. I wonder if thats the original design, just to to stick a piece of wood in the fiberglass like that? I might try and weight it down some how. Thanks for the info
