I don't think the pedestal that came from the factory in my boat is any higher than that. It's made by Garelick & after breaking the slide mechanism (my fault) I contacted them directly & they were very helpful. They sold me a replacement directly for less than similar models I was seeing elsewhere. Might want to contact them & see what they suggest.
