WOW that does long really long there. Personally I'd redesign that trailer somewhat. I'd put some longer side section towards the front from the existing sides to support that bow section of the boat, both for support and stability... I just finished rebuilding a trailer and installed many addon's to fashion the trailer to fit my boat. You can see it at "Bringing a trailer back to life" thread if you care to look at it. Since you have a welder, the shy is the limit...
Yup,I know the drill--no pics.so it never happened.lol-I added 20ins.& she looked kinda leggy,so I whupped up a bow brace.It wasn't flimsy,just looked longggg.There was another thing;the front bow brace/roller,appears to be normally used w.V hull.Or maybe their all the same? I was thinking,wouldn't it be better to have a wider footprint on the bottom in front as is on the back? Never really paid much attention,till I got a flat bottom.
