Is there anyway to adjust the tension on gear shifters with electronic throttles. I have twin 4.3's on a Sundancer 280 and the port throttle is harder to move then the stbd. Is there any easy way to adjust tension? I do not have a manual for the throttles and don't have any model information

That's is what I figured would be involved however there is no obvious way to get the cover off. No screws. I was a bit hesitant to just start prying. Any idea how to go about it?

Without any idea of what engine/drive setup you have or even a year, don't expect much for answers.
BTW, that control is not electric. Strictly cable.

Push in on the plastic cover at the bottom and lift it up...
