I replaced the shift cable bellows and disconnected the cable from the engine with throttle at forward W.O.T, every thing went back on ok and is hooked back up properly, I even put a little paint an the threads to mark them to put the barrel and cable back in the same spot, But now if I go back to the stern and spin the prop by hand it makes a tick tick tick noise when I spin the prop in nuetral, Does that mean I need to readjust the cable again evn though I put everything back the way it was??

If it ticks with the drive down then yes you will need to readjust the cable by a spin or too, But first lower the drive and move the shifter in and out of gear then turn the prop to see if the tick went away.

I did everything with the drive still up and it is still up, Will definitly give it a shot!! I am going to work on the boat tomarrow and will let ya know how it worked out. It didn't click before I replaced the shift cable bellows.
Thanks...........Pat
