I bought a case of beer for our holiday party. When I opened it I found half a dozen business cards from a local bail bondsman!

Although funny... this is falls into product/package tampering. I'd have the guy's ***** if that was my case of beer or case of whatever. He's lucky that you got that case and not me. Being in the product/packaging/design business, I take these types of things very seriously. I can only hope that someone with my passion finds one of his little hidden messages and gives it to him good. Who does he think he is, slipping something into other people's goods?

Being the "expert" that you claim, I find it astonishing that you'd get so wound up without more information.
This is harmless enough in any event, IMO; I don't see a victim here anywhere. ... You don't have a clue what kind of beer this is (lots of great small micros and craft breweries in the LV area) and it could well be that the guy paid a small fee to have his cards included in the batch run.

Anyone "in the product/packaging/design business" should know that.

Relax, lighten up, and have a beer. ;)

I'm curious PGFISHER...did you put one of the cards in your wallet?:D;):p

I really do not see the harm in this. You can slide a few down the opening for the "handle". Not really product tampering in my book. Now if one of the cans had been opened, drank, and replaced:eek:...THEN I would be mad:mad:!

Relax, have a beer and try not to need to call a bondsman.

Yes I kept one of the cards, but only to show the guys at work. They all had a good laugh and wanted to get some of that beer. I guess, tampering with the product, promoted it.

Re: Advertising genius

as a once off event, then I can see the amusing side to this.
Obviously the advertiser knows exactly the source where his business is generated.

BUT, I do have to sort-of agree with joza, because as a once-off it's ok, but what if the principal catches on.
Won't be a joke them!!
(Still funny at the moment tho!)

Cheers
Phillip
