I want to do a search, but I can't, so I guess I will just ask and hopefully receive some answers.

I have purchased some closed cell foam to pour under the floor of my boat. i was wondering if you all have any tips. My biggest concern is that the foam is going to totally fill the voids under the floor, so what happens if some water gets in to the front of the hull...how will it ever make it back to the bilge to drain out?

thanks you all!

I was told by the local boat repair "guy" to install a piece of pvc to run the length of the boat along the bottom, glass it in, drill holes in it to allow the water to flow to the back of the boat.

That is a project I plan do to over the off-season.

we thought about doing eepks idea in the lund we are restoring but the more we researched the idea the more troublesome it seemed. Waterproof the floor completely. we are putting rhino lining in our boat. Every time you get on plane it will send the water to the back where the bilge is.
