Advice for outboard setup needed....

2003 Explorer 17 HS (high side)
Max HP is 90. Transom from top to bottom which is actually the top of the small tunnel is 24 inches. Jack plate, just put outboard of what HP would you get? Hydraulic steering? 50hp ok ya think?

Boat will be used in a Texas lake.

Need what is called an ---EXTRA LONGSHAFT MOTOR-----Meant to hang on a 25" transom.

Sorry but disagree as motor runs in water from tunnel.. Have several duck hunters with aluminum tunnels hulls. Here a CS with same design with standard 48HP
