My first post on this forum but, I do a lot of reading on here.

I have owned several boats and currently have a MFG Tri hull bass boat. I am tired of the tri hull. I now live 5 mins. from Lake Ontario and need to get back on the water. I now have a family and only a little money to play with right now.

On Craigslist, I saw a 1982 Rinker. Going to check it out tomorrow. Just wondering about opinions on the make and model year and price??

Here is part of the ad listing and a pic:
It has a good running mercruiser 170hp 4 cylinder. It has new bellows, gimbel bearing, water pump impeller and prop this past year. All it needs is new vinyl on the interior pieces. I run it as it is but it would look better with the covering. Would make a great boat with a little work. has a 1983 roller trailer with new LED lights. Have registration for both trailer and boat. I have had this boat up to 42 mph. $1200 cash. sorry no pics of the interior. The floors seem good and the hull is solid.

ANY OPINIONS WELCOMED??? THANKS!!!

Shucks! I am so glad I asked. Back to Craigslist to look some more.

Thank you dearly for your time. Much appreciated.
