Its difficult to say any precise speed change it depend on the final rpm.
"about" 200 rpm per inch is a rule of thumb with "about" being the key word.
Your present rpm is below the max; 19" would create lower rpm would cause lugging slower hole shot and possibly slower speed.imo speed increase is a toss up.
well i was just out on her today and at WOT it will hit 4900rpm's and get out of the water pretty quickly... Would a Mercruiser Alpha prop fit my 82' Mercruiser outdrive?
Assuming you stay with Al. or Steel, which ever you have, I think you'd like the 19 better. It will be a little less of a hole shot but will still have plenty to pull a skier. At WOT the RPMS will be down about 3-400 which is better for the engine anyway.
