Compression numbers will vary a little depending on the gauge you are using and if this unit is a rope or electric start.Electric you can expect 200 + psi with a fully charged battery ,the neutral saftey switch bypassed and at wide open.Have all plugs out at that point and the lanyard removed.Check for any evidence of water in the motor oil, like foam under the filler cap,as well as intrusion into the gearcase.Bottom line is hear it run. These triples can offer a little bit of an uneven idle on the flusher so a water test would be advised before you laydown.

check the power tilt motor.if its rusty and the screws break while trying to replace a new assembly is required ,about $800.00
