advice on cuddy

I'm new to boating and looking to buy a used cuddy. What would be a good starter boat that my family and I could enjoy. I would prefer to stay away from OMC motors.

I have a Bayliner 19'10" 1990, great boat. Range from 2500 to 4000 in Sacramento. Out of the water now for some repairs but its a great boat.
