Advice on how to bend fuel filler hose??

Any recommendations on how to bend 2” OD rubber fuel fill hose? I need to make a sharp 90 degree bend starting at my fill hole, and a 45 at the tank. I bent a piece of metal pipe to my desired shape and pushed it through the hose, then tried soaking it in warm water in a bath tub for about a half hour to no avail. It just doesn’t want to bend without kinking...

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Fuel hose is to stiff for sharp bends,.....
Ya might try findin' a different route, or usin' metal bends 'tween hose sections,....
A different route is a better idea, as multiple joints can lead to more leak possibilities,.....

I’ll look into some metal bends, the span is only 3 ft long so my options are limited in terms of routes. Thank you for the quick response
