I am installing 2 x 18 gal plastic fuel tanks in the centre belly opening over the keel in my 1981 16,5' Wellcraft Air Slot, 2 x fillers and vents with a y valve.
Would it be necessary to vent the compartment as well?
I would like to lay the tanks on a closed cell foam mat (exercise type mat) to minimise vibration and contact with the fiberglass surround, and strapped down with SS clamps.
Suggestions and advise please.
